My most coveted skill as a Ramshackle DJ is the rare ability to be able to write in the first person.
I have been able to press play on a CD player for approximately one year now and I recently learnt how to skip tracks so I don’t just have to play the first song on a CD, something that I think elevates me to the dizzying heights of DJ superstardom. Such skills as these have allowed me to DJ to over 7.5 trillion people a week alongside all the most famous people including the Queen and the Lyn from Alan Partridge.
My favourite band is The Arcade Fire which is all the more impressive when you consider that my first cassette was Bananarama. Speaking to Horse and Hound I once said “One day I plan to take over from DJ Dan and Dave Remix and all you’ll be able to hear at Ramshackle will be The Arcade Fire!” They never printed it though because it had nothing to do with horses or hounds.
